Hi Y'all!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. Let me tell you, Life has a way of taking us on unexpected journeys, and for a time, I stepped away from writing. There are a ton of reasons why I stopped but in all honesty, they are just excuses. God is faithful and throughout the past year, I have been focusing on my relationship with God and my personal growth. One thing I learned this past year, is that no matter what you are going through, you must continue to pray, praise, and worship! It will not always be an easy thing to do, but it is necessary.
The Power of Prayer
Growing up, I thought all prayer had to be super deep and "perfect" for God to hear it. That is not true at all, God wants to hear from us, and all you have to do is talk to him. He cares about what is in your heart and on your mind. If you are concerned about not making ends meet, or a bill that is too high, dealing with heartbreak, starting a new job, childcare issues, or anything you can think of, trust me God cares and He is here for you! Prayer is extremely powerful and it’s a reminder that we don’t have to carry our burdens alone; God is ready to help us sort through our thoughts and emotions. Plus He is the ultimate way-maker!
The Importance of Involving God in Your Finances
Over the years, I’ve learned to prioritize God in my financial planning. This may mean making sacrifices or being generous when it’s challenging (I know it can be hard!), but I promise you, the blessings that come from obedience are profound.
I’m happy to be writing again I am looking forward to sharing more tips and reflections with y'all.
